Play it a lot, but it is expensive. Hangs frequently requiring a restart, using an Android mobile. Breaks its own bidding conventions

Used to really like it, now I hate it as it’s far to hard to navigate if you would like to edit your account. Make it basic- you are assuming everyone is adept.

It's well done. Just be sure you study how the boys are set up so you can play the same games.

Modo de juego favorito: ‘I normally play at the intermediate level, but sometimes will jump to the master level to check on my progress.’

Sistema de subasta utilizado: ‘Jacoby transfers for both majors and minors, Gerber, RKC though I prefer 1430 to 3014. It is more accurate.’

overview.testimonial.whyfunbridge ‘I love to play, but doing so at my club costs 4x as much of done on a yearly basis. I also like tournament play and adding to my MPs. I'm about to renew my ACBL membership as well’

overview.testimonial.helpImprove ‘Yes. The level of competition demands it for progression.’

Though there are some glitches particularly with the explanations of bids, by and large it is OK. Another field in which improvement is needed is in the translation from. FRENCH TO ENGLISH.

Sistema de subasta utilizado: ‘Say C’

I am coming to like it. I do not like less than perfect robots and I get ferociously mad at them at times but I am adjusting to it. I now prefer Funbridge to BBO.

Modo de juego favorito: ‘I like the instant tournaments (ACBL). I wish you could find a way to get more people to play in the tournaments.’

Sistema de subasta utilizado: ‘It is easier to tell you the ones I do not like. I do not like showing controls when the shower does not have extra values. I would rather remove showing controls altogether than continue that. The robots will sometimes start showing controls right over 3NT Another one is the use of informative doubles with bad points around 10-11. That practice always leaves me wondering what to do. I like everything about 2/1 system. Jacoby 2NT, checkback stayman, 1NT forcing (but you should change it to require 6 cards for rebid of a major). I like most everything I play. I would have your programmers look at the situations that require extra values. For example, I have bid 3NT and set the contract several times when the robot will start showing controls and I cannot get the contract back to NT. To go over 3NT, especially into a minor, must show values sufficient to support that level. The robot should take the mid-range of my bids, add them to his points and let that number determine if he is going to go over 3NT. I call that having discipline. You have to be careful because, in my view, if you are going to end up in a minor, you might as well bid 6 and pray. Minor games are almost never a good score so if you cannot make 6 you are going to get a bottom. Therefore, do not go there unless you have the count for 6 (33 pts) and if you haven't found a fit before a NT or major game, do not try to find it at the 5-;level.’

overview.testimonial.whyfunbridge ‘Unlike BBO, Funbridge has more normal distributions. Frankly, I do not know how to bid a 6-6-1 hand and neither does anybody else. You either cheat or you have a lot of luck with those. They are fun once and a while but one tournament at BBO I had 5 6-6-1 hands in one tournament. I complained and they said it was a normal tournament.’

overview.testimonial.helpImprove ‘No. Unfortunately, I am forced to remember robot inadequacies and that is not good for my game. As long as I continue playing on Funbridge, I will continue to improve but when I go to BBO, everything changes. Their robots play near perfect defense; the robots at Funbridge are bad at defense. But... the robots at BBO bid on practically nothing and that is hard to get used to. If you could take the good of Funbridge and combine it with the good of BBO, you would have an unbeatable system. I suggest programmers at Funbridge play on BBO and see what I am talking about. I hate to say this but I suspect cheating on BBO. Because of telephones, it can happen anywhere and it is never the fault of the system but when you find the winners handling five 6-6-1 hands perfectly you have to wonder. The reason those hands are so difficult is you do not have enough bidding space to show the hands. I will never be a great player because I use card sense more than memory. After all, I am 83 years old; I have to adjust. I am at about 650 MP and that has happened after no bridge for over 40 years. Incidentally, I gave up bridge because of massive cheating in the Springfield MA bridge clubs where I played. I see no point to the game if people are going to cheat. For an improvement, I would make it possible to play with a partner in the ACBL tournaments. I would address the issue of the use of telephones during a bridge tournament. I do not have a solution to that problem but I feel that it is taking place and it will ruin on-line bridge if a solution is not found. But... I suppose if you did find a solution, they would use short wave radio. Cheating has become very sophisticated in this technical age.’
