Ambassadors' tournament
For the first time in the history of Funbridge, five professional bridge players known as the “Funbridge
Ambassadors” will be joining you in the Ambassadors’ tournament from
22 to 30 May 2021!
Your aim? Pit your
skills against them and try to beat them to make it all the more rewarding for
you to participate. Nearly 10,000 Diamonds are to be won and
you will get 5 Diamonds for each champion you will overtake in the
rankings.

When will the Ambassadors’ tournament take place? ►
The Ambassadors’ tournament will be held from 22 May to 30 May 2021 on the Funbridge app.
It is split into two phases: the qualification phase and the final.
How does the qualification phase work? ►
The qualification phase will take place from 22 May to 27 May 2021.
100 tournaments of 6 deals scored by MPs are included. Ambassadors will be allowed to play a maximum of 5 tournaments.
You have to play at least 3 tournaments.
Once this threshold is reached, the results of your top 3 tournaments will be used to calculate your average score and determine your ranking.
To qualify and make it to the Ambassadors’ tournament final, your result must be equal to or higher than 58%.
How does the final work? ►
Friday, day off! The final will take place from 29 to 30 May 2021 and include 8 tournaments of 6 deals scored by MPs. Ambassadors will be allowed to play a maximum of 6 tournaments.
You have to play 4 tournaments.
Once this threshold is reached, the results of your 4 tournaments will be used to calculate your average score and determine your ranking.
The Ambassadors’tournament rankings will be made available at the end of the final.
What are the prizes awarded? ►
Prizes:
- 1st: 1,000 Diamonds
- 2nd: 800 Diamonds
- 3rd: 600 Diamonds
- 4th-10th: 200 Diamonds
- 11th-50th: 100 Diamonds
- 51st-100th: 50 Diamonds
But that is not all! You will get 5 Diamonds for each ambassador you overtake in the rankings of the qualification phase and the final.
How much is the entry fee? ►
Each tournament of the qualification phase costs 10 Diamonds.
Tournaments of the final phase are free.
How to track the Ambassadors’ progress?
1. Follow them using your Funbridge account
- Click “Friends” on the homescreen
- Click “Search”
- Type in the ambassador’s username:

- Once you are in the ambassador’s profile, click “Follow” 🔍
2. Filter the tournament rankings
In the general rankings of the tournament, select the filter “Friends” to display your friends and the Ambassadors you are following only. This will allow you to see how you compare with our champions at any time.
