The tournament draw and the distribution of the 16 teams will be totally random.
The tournament will start on Friday 12 December 2014 and end on Thursday 15 January 2015.
As a result, there will be 4 rounds for these finals, one per week:
Round of 16: from Friday 12 to Thursday 18 December
Quarter-finals: from Friday 19 to Thursday 25 December
– Break during the holiday season –
from Thursday 25 December 2014 to Friday 2 January 2015

Final: from Friday 9 to Thursday 15 January
Basics of a bridge match between Team A and Team B
Each of the 5 players of Team A will play one of the 5 players of Team B.
As a result, one encounter between two teams amounts to five encounters.
Each player’s handicap* will allow to determine which player of Team A will play which player of Team B.
*Indeed, the player of Team A with the best handicap will play the player of Team B with the best handicap.
The player of Team A with the 2nd best handicap will play the player of Team B with the 2nd best handicap and so on.
These encounters will include 20 deals and will be played based on MP ranking.
When a match is won by the player of one team, the team in question scores 1 point.
The team scoring the highest number of points wins the round and progresses into the next one.
In case teams are level, e.g. 2 points scored by Team A and Team B, the team with the best % in the 5 matches played will win the round.
In case teams are level again, the team winning the round will be the one with the lowest average handicap in 5 matches.
