Basics of a bridge match between Team A and Team B

Each of the 5 players of Team A will play one of the 5 players of Team B.
As a result, one encounter between two teams amounts to five encounters.

Each player’s handicap* will allow to determine which player of Team A will play which player of Team B.

*Indeed, the player of Team A with the best handicap will play the player of Team B with the best handicap.
The player of Team A with the 2nd best handicap will play the player of Team B with the 2nd best handicap and so on.

These encounters will include 20 deals and will be played based on MP ranking.
When a match is won by the player of one team, the team in question scores 1 point.
The team scoring the highest number of points wins the round and progresses into the next one.

In case teams are level, e.g. 2 points scored by Team A and Team B, the team with the best % in the 5 matches played will win the round.
In case teams are level again, the team winning the round will be the one with the lowest average handicap in 5 matches.
