FFB Expert Points tournaments are open to everyone. To take part, every player must have enough credits for FFB tournaments.
A tournament consists of 20 deals in MP scoring with at least 10 players. If the minimum number of players required is not reached, the tournament is cancelled and you will get your credits back.
Please note that the bank holiday timetable will apply in case bank holidays fall on a Monday or Thursday.
Entry fee - credits
The credits allowing you to play FFB tournaments are not included in our standard offers.
You can purchase these specific credits in the Funbridge shop, symbolised by a trolley on the home screen of your application.
Several packs of credits for FFB tournaments are available (1 credit allows you to play 1 tournament of 20 deals):
You can also purchase them in our online shop by clicking here.
Please note that the credits for FFB tournaments cannot be refunded. You can delete your registration for a tournament before it starts (click on the button "registered").
When the player is a licence-holder, the fee is redistributed as follows:
At the end of the deal, players only have access to their own result on the deal, i.e. contract played, result, score and rank.
Other players' results will be displayed at the end of the tournament only.
Calculation of the number of deals based on the number of participants
The number of deals generated for a tournament is higher than the number of deals played, so that all players won't play the same deals and not in the same order.
The average displayed includes the results for the deals played. Only played deals are taken into account. If a deal remains to be played and the tournament is over, it will be awarded a score of 0%.
Awarding of Expert Points
The awarding of Expert Points for a tournament is calculated based on the following formula:
T=BV x N x 5/18
BV is calculated as follows:
|If 25>N<=50||BV=8N/5 + X - 40|
|If 50>N<100||BV=2 N/5 + X + 20|
|If N>=100||BV=X + 60|
With X=100 (coefficient for afternoon tournaments sanctioned by FFB).
The number of points awarded to each player is calculated based on the following formula:
A(r)=K x ((N + a) / r - a)^m (Please note that "m" is an exponent and means "to the power m") where:
