
FAQ – Bridge Olympic Esports Week tournament
The Bridge Olympic Esports Week tournament is a special tournament held on Funbridge.
Its aim is to gather all bridge lovers in an online tournament from 19 to 25 June 2023.
Come pit your skills against players from all over the world, enter the Bridge Olympic Esports Week tournament world rankings and earn Funbridge Points!
Bridge Olympic Esports Week Funbridge International Champion and National Champions titles will be awarded.
The Bridge Olympic Esports Week Tournament will be held from 19 to 25 June 2023 on the Funbridge app.
It will be split into two phases.
The qualification phase will be taking place from 19 to 21 June 2023 and include 100 tournaments of 6 deals scored by MPs.
The final will be taking place on 23 to 25 June 2023 and include 8 tournaments of 6 deals scored by MPs.
The tournament will be available on Funbridge at any time (France time zone) from 19 to 25 June 2023.
The qualification phase will be taking place from 19 to 21 June 2023 and include 100 tournaments of 6 deals scored by MPs.
You have to play at least 5 tournaments.
Once this threshold is reached, your top 5 tournament results will be used to determine your ranking.
To qualify and make it to the final of the Bridge Olympic Esports Week tournament, your average score must be 55% or more.
Those who qualify will receive 50 Diamonds.
The final will be taking place on 23-25 June 2023 and include 8 tournaments of 6 deals scored by MPs.
You have to play 5 tournaments.
Then a ranking will be attributed to players based on their average scores for these 5 best tournaments.
The Bridge Olympic Esports Week tournament rankings will be made available after the final.
Each tournament of the qualification phase costs 25 Diamonds. Tournaments of the final phase are free.
Diamonds are the virtual currency used on Funbridge. They give you access to special events such as this one, Funbridge Points tournaments and official tournaments licensed by our partner NBOs.

The title of the Bridge Olympic Esports Week International Champion will be awarded to the player with the top score/percentage in the tournament rankings.
Prizes:
1st: 5,000 Diamonds + one invitation to the World Championships in Marrakech 🎟️
2nd: 3,000 Diamonds
3rd: 1,500 Diamonds
4th-10th: 200 Diamonds
11th-50th: 100 Diamonds
51st-100th: 50 Diamonds
National ranking lists per country will be made available provided that there are at least 10 participating players from that country.
The titles of the Bridge Olympic Esports Week National Champion will be awarded to the players with the top score/percentage in the rankings for their country.
1st national player: 1,000 Diamonds
2nd national player: 800 Diamonds
3rd national player: 500 Diamonds
Positions in the ranking lists after the final will determine the awarding of the International and National Champion titles.
You have to play at least 5 tournaments to appear in the provisional ranking list of the qualification phase.
And you have to play 5 tournaments to appear in the provisional ranking list of the final.
At the end of the qualification phase and final, you can access the world rankings on the tournament homescreen.
Select the filter My country to view the national rankings.
Positions in the ranking lists after the final will determine the winners.
You can click on My tournaments on the homescreen of the Bridge Olympic Esports Week tournament at any time.
You get Funbridge Points for each Bridge Olympic Esports Week tournament played.
These points allow you to enter the Funbridge Points rankings.
